Brian Bartaby - CEOFounder of Proplend

Brian Bartaby, Chief Executive Officer and Founder

“Earn interest from borrowers, not from banks through secured Peer to Peer Lending”

Brian Bartaby is the founder of Proplend, a peer to peer lending platform where lenders earn interest from borrowers and not from banks and where the loans are supported by security over an income producing commercial property.  Following a 13 year career in the city trading financial instruments, Brian has spent the past 12 years in property finance working with real estate investors and developers, successfully structuring funding to meet their ever changing requirements.  In response to the fallout from the banking crisis and the long term low interest rate environment, Proplend was developed to act as a platform where individual lenders and borrowers come together.

Brian’s presentation will  focus on how individual investors can gain direct access to the long established institutional investor asset class of commercial real estate debt through peer to peer loans.
